Welcome to Thames Canoe Hire

Thames Canoe Hire rent out a fleet of Canoes and Kayaks from our base on the Thames at Tilehurst, Reading. All boats have river licences and are rented out with paddles and buoyancy aids.

Boats can be hired out for half a day, a full day, a weekend or for a week. We are also able to meet you at up river locations, with boats, if you choose to paddle down river over a number of days. Please call us on 01189 412777 for a quotation.

If you require a drop off or a pick up, please note this must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

On picking up your canoe or kayak, you will ge given a full safety briefing, if you have any questions before booking please feel free to call us. You might like to try one of our suggested routes.

All our boats are fully insured. They can be hired all year long subject to weather and river conditions. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings if we feel the conditions are not suitable.

Occasionally we need to upgrade our fleet and need to sell our older boats. If you are interested they can be viewed here.
